Information Communication Technology
The children are taught to use ICT equipment and software confidently and purposefully for communication, control and investigation. As part of our library we have a wonderful suite of computers, laptops and I-Pads.
In addition to this, each class has additional lap top computers or PCs. All school hardware is updated on a rolling replacement cycle. Interactive ‘Smartboard’ teaching screens are installed in all classrooms as well as in the library.
Enjoyment and understanding of music will be developed through activities that include performing, composing, listening and appraising. We take and encourage outside professional involvement with visiting musicians from a variety of cultures and styles. Many children take up peripatetic instrument lessons through the County Music Service
County Music Lessons
The school is able to offer private tuition for a range of instruments, through County Music if you require any more information about this please contact the music service directly on 01609 532783 or speak to the school and we will point you in the right direction.
